New Single: release (A Tale of Outer Suburbia) by Hands Like Houses
Australian rockers Hands Like Houses have recently released their new EP Reimagine, which consists of five alternative versions of tracks from their 2013 LP, Unimagine. The original track ‘A Tale of Outer Suburbia’ was given new life when reimagined into the single ‘release’. What was once a decent, yet straightforward song, was given a much fuller sound when slowed down to a simpler acoustic feel. ‘release’ is stripped down, and frontman Trenton Woodley’s vocals are much more haunting and emotional when backed with only a few simple chords as opposed to ‘A Tale of Outer Suburbia’ and it’s intricate riffs. ‘release’ definitely makes much more of an impact.
