New Pitch Perfect 2 Trailer Posted
A new trailer has been released online for upcoming film Pitch Perfect 2. The sequel to the 2012’s Pitch Perfect is slated for release in theatres May 15th.
Elizabeth Banks will be making her directing debut for the film, adapting the script written by Kay Cannon, who also wrote the original. IMBD gives a short description of the sequel, stating, “collegiate a cappella group the Barden Bellas enter into an international competition that no American team has ever won.”
Pitch Perfect grossed over £75 million in theatres worldwide, and is second only to 2003’s School of Rock for highest-grossing musical comedy film.
Many cast members will be returning including Rebel Wilson, Anna Camp, Brittany Snow, Elizabeth Banks, Skylar Astin and Ester Dean, as well as Anna Kendrick reprising her role as Beca, New cast members include Hailee Steinfeld, Katy Sagal and Adam DeVine.
