New Single: Schema by Circa Survive

Forceful from the start, Circa Survive’s ‘Schema,’ busts through the gates with sheer power.

Front man Anthony Green drags his vocals out with yearning, pulling emotion from every last inhale. He begs over and over, “I wanna know, I wanna know.” Hard-hitting punches come from within the melody to match the punches taken on screen.

Solid blows to the drumheads parallel the pounding on the guitar, and a pulsing beat flows throughout the track to keep the pace upbeat and high tempo. Dead silence drifts away followed with an emotional barrage of sound. The guitars scream with fast pace solos and drawn out tones that are left echoing to mesh with Green’s vocals. The passion packed within just a few minutes is massive.

Speaker feedback at the track’s end leaves those listening with their heart thumping and their adrenaline spiking. ‘Schema’ is a fantastic suggestion of what Circa’s new record Descensus is capable of.
