Warped Tour 2014

Well, it's that time of the year again. Sunshine, flip-flops and Vans Warped Tour. Warped is celebrating it's 20th Birthday and fans are disappointed to see that more vetrans of the tour arn't coming out to make an appearance to celebrate. Among the headliners are Of Mice & Men and Yellowcard but many up and coming bands are making their debuts. A few bands are also using this years tour to make a comeback in their careers such as Anberlin and Cute is What We Aim For. Fans hadnt herd much from CIWWAF lately, and their were rumors of a termination of the band altogether. Their last album being Rotation back a few years ago, they are coming to make an appearance with a few new songs hopefully ending in a new EP or album. Anberlin is making the rounds this year on their final tour with their final album and making an appearance on Warped on their way through before disbanding the group at the end of the year. Up and coming bands to check out include A Lot Like Birds, The Story So Far and Crown the Empire. A Lot Like Birds is fronted by ex-frontman of Dance Gavin Dance, Kurt Travis. Their style remains similar to DGD. A quick rising star in the punk scene is A Story So Far. The raspy angry sounding lyrics rip from front man Parker Cannon‘s throat. Go and check out Quicksand, Roam, and Empty Space. Crown the Empire is a high energy metalcore band with a love of theatrics. Their album the Fallout includes both screams and delicate melodies that come across as beautifully haunting. There's no doubt that Warped will have something awesome in store for all the fans this year for their birthday show.
